Untitled / Work in progress
When we hear a sound, its characteristics place us: they talk about distance, proximity, breadth or narrowness. Just hearing, we get an idea of a space.
This project has involved the construction of a clock that happens 60 seconds in audio and LED lights. The clock has a sensor which measures distance proximity and detects motion. As near you get to the clock, its sound gets slower and changes its reverberation; creating a new sound-space-perception.
Espectator's movement destabilizes timing and spatiality delivered by the object.
