Multiplicamos les cuerpes, expandimos el espacio y agitamos las voces en nuestros territorios cuando nos tuvimos que alejar. Somos multitud, somos comunidad y hoy cada una de nuestras voces hará historia.
"para poder cruzar el angosto portal del aquí y el ahora" es una video-performace, realizada en julio del 2020 en el contexto de pandemia, cuarentena, revuelta social y estado de sitio, en el Anfiteatro Griego del Parque Juan XXIII en Ñuñoa; espacio de encuentro y activación territorial durante el estallido social, espacio que durante la pandemia fue clausurado.
La performer recorre el espacio con un parlante en su espalda, parlante que reproduce fragmentos de registros que se obtuvieron a partir de caminatas sonoras durante las manifestaciones masivas generadas a partir del 18 de octubre del 2019.
Esta acción es presentada bajo el contexto del Plebiscito que tuvo lugar el 25 de octubre 2020.

A performer crosses the space with a speaker on her back. It reproduces audios registered during the massive social protests that happened in Chile in 2019 and 2020.
An important social riot started in October 2019 in Chile. For months, protests rose every week in every city of the country. Moreover, series of "cabildos" emerged: neighbours and local communities gathered to talk about the nation that we wanted to build and the nation that we wanted to leave behind. People and no politicians. People united for a better future.
The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic meant staying at home and stopping the riot. How to continue with this historical socio-political moment when a pandemic is knocking at the door?
"to cross the narrow portal of here and now" was an attempt to bring the sound of the protests into the empty pandemic streets. This video-performance was recorded at the Greek Amphitheater of Juan XXIII Park in Ñuñoa, Santiago; where many cabildos took place.
